   http://www.golfclubexchange.com is a very well designed site, but they do not have the extensive inventory that ebay has. I have bought several items from that site and have been pleased with all of them.

   http://www.golfsmith.com also has a "used clubs" section.

   Lastly, you might check for a second-hand sports or golf retailer in your town. There are two seconc-hand golf retailers in the town that I live in, and several more second-hand sports shops. Play-It-Again Sports has locations in many US cities, so you might try that.

   I'm a big fan of Rock Bottom Golf. They're a big discount seller, so they don't have a full line or the new 2008 stuff, but they have the lowest prices on the gear they do have.

   They also are really good about providing coupons online and having good giveaways that change weekly.

   What I suggest doing is going down to a sporting store like big 5 that sells box golf sets from a range from 150-200 and youll get a full set, great beginner clubs, and lasted me 3 years.

   Try a "Play It Again Sports" franchise if you have one in your area. You can see and feel the clubs in person. Make them an offer as well. They often will negotiate.

   I've bought a few clubs at 3balls.com . they have new and used clubs with a pretty accurate rating system and really good prices.

   master grip has good clubs for a fraction of name brands…there is also scratch bottom golf, clubfinders.net has lost and found clubs for a decent price..to name a few
